OUR STORY

We first met on January 16th, 2021, and had a chilly first date, thanks to the indoor dining ban. In the four and a half years since, we've shared adventures, laughs, and lots of love. Here are some of our favorite memories.

If you have a few extra days, we recommend visiting the Oregon coast, wine tasting in the <a href="https:" />Willamette Valley</a>. or hiking in the <a href="https:" />Columbia River Gorge</a> (pro tip: Multnomah Falls will be packed this time of year, so we don't recommend hiking there, just stopping by!).   In Portland, we love visiting the <a href="https:" />Portland Japanese Garden</a>, the <a href="https:" />Portland Art Museum</a>, and <a href="https:" />Powell's Books</a>.   Good streets to spend a few hours strolling, window shopping, and grabbing a meal include NW 23rd/21st, SE Division, SE Hawthorne, and N Mississippi.

One of our go-to dinner restaurants. <a href="https://theleakyroof.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Leaky Roof </a>- Our neighborhood brunch spot! Thomas gets the omelet, Mira gets the benedict. <a href="https://omashideaway.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Oma's Hideaway</a> - Malaysian &amp; Singaporean small plates, yummy cocktails, and fun and funky decor. <a href="https://www.scotchlodge.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Scotch Lodge</a> - Whisky bar with excellent food, great cocktails, and a wide liquor selection. <a href="https://www.matadorrestaurants.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Matador </a>- Mexican with delicious margaritas.
